Question
What is the DOMA Pre-Algebra and Algebra Class Mastery Report?

Answer

The DOMA Pre-Algebra  and DOMA Algebra Class Mastery Reports allow teachers to aggregate the individual student diagnostic reports into a classroom version.

While on the <Scores & Reports>Pre-Algebra  or Algebra tab, select a class and testing date range.  Then  click on the "Display Class Mastery" button.

The below screen shot from the DOMA Pre-Algebra Class Mastery Report shows the Coordinate Graphing and Geometry constructs. The green highlighted band lists the construct name and the percent mastery of the whole construct for the entire class. The percentage scores below show how students performed as a whole class on specific test items. In this example, 50% of the class got the perimeter of a rectangle question correct. This report allows teachers to identify areas of strength and weakness for their classes.

To see which students specifically answered the question right or wrong, click on the sub-test name  (#1 in screenshot below) . This will open a pop-up (#2 on screenshot below) showing all students who took the test and if they ansered the question correct or incorrect.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
