Assigning Edge lessons to my students using the Assingments tool

Here's how to get started.

  1. Click on Instruction tab.
  2. Select Assignments (v2).
  3. Click on +Create Assignments.

Add your students.

  1. Select Roster to view students and assign lessons.
  2. Select grade. This is optional; you can also keep the default setting, All Grades.
  3. Select your student(s) by clicking on their names.
  4. Click Next.

Choose lessons - You can choose between ELA & Math lessons.  

ELA & Math Lessons

  1. Select Edge ELA or Math Lessons.
  2. Select lesson from list by putting a check mark in the box.  You can use the Search field and/or Grade to help narrow your lesson search.  You also have the option to preview a lesson by clicking the "Preview" button.
  3. Once lesson(s) have been selected, click Next.

Name your assignment.

  1. Create a title.
  2. Write instructions for student(s).
  3. Select the Start/End date range for the assignment.
  4. Save the assignment.

Once completed, you will be able to view all your assignments.

Options available on this page:

  1. View assignments by subject.
  2. View assignments by status (all, current, past due).
  3. Edit, view usage, & delete existing assignments.
  4. Create a new assignment.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistenciesin this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
