Question
How to use our AI Assistant Luna

Answer
Meet Luna: The Lesson Plan Assistant - Assists teachers who need help with lesson planning and supports the personalizing instruction for students.

Luna can help teachers write lesson plans that are based on best-practices and research-based instructional strategies. Teachers can also refine, edit current documents or text that is more complex. Luna does not have the ability to receive student diagnostic data directly from Lets Go Learn assessments unless it is copied into the prompt.

When using the Instructional Placement Report look for the Blue highlighted row in the reporting area. This row represents a specific skill area where these students have common needs.

  • Select Students: Simply click anywhere on that blue row. This action automatically selects every student who falls within that specific skill deficit.
  • Launch Luna: Next, click the AI Lesson Plan button. This instantly launches Luna, our Lesson Plan Assistant.
  • Review the Prompt: Because you highlighted those specific students, Luna automatically generates a suggested prompt that outlines the goal: "Create a lesson plan that meets the needs of students requiring instruction in [X Skill]."
  • Edit and Generate: You have full control! You can edit or revise the prompt within the chat box to your liking. Please note- lessons will default to providing the common core standard unless you provide your specific state in the prompt box. Once satisfied, press Send to generate the research-based lesson plan.
  • Utilize the Plan: Lunas plan is grounded in best instructional practices. Teachers can easily differentiate and modify the plan to meet specific needs, then either copy and paste the material into your own document or save it directly within the platform.
  • Save Document: To securely store your lesson plan for future use, simply select the Export Response option. This action saves the document directly within our internal document management system, ensuring easy access and retrieval at any time.
  • Any Time AI Access: Luna is accessible beyond the Instructional Placement Report. You can engage with the Luna AI Assistant at any time by navigating to the "AI > AI Assistants" tab in the main menu. This provides continuous support whenever you need it.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistenciesin this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
