Question
Rostering and SSO Options for Let's Go Learn

Answer

Rostering and SSO (Single Sign-On) Options for Let's Go Learn

Rostering Options

Option One - Manually Adding Student
Administrators/teachers can manually add students from the LGL account (not recommended for deployments that will serve more than 100 students).  For more information - Click Here

Option Two - Manual Uploads Using the Teacher/Student Excel Templates
How does it work: The customer fills out the Teacher/Student Template and uploads the file to our secure upload link or emails it directly to us.  Once we receive the file, the data will be uploaded to our system in 24 to 48 hours or less.  Please allow for more time during the back to school time of year.  For more information - Click Here

  • Requirements:
    • 30+ students minimum for student upload
    • Local student IDs are required
  • Pros:
    • Quick and easy way to get started and to update rosters yearly
    • Best option for small or single-school accounts
    • Gives administrators and teachers more control over their users and rosters
  • Cons:
    • Teachers or administrators need to manage their users and rosters (ensuring that students are not entered multiple times).

Option Three - Sync Rosters through Clever via Edlink (API Provider)
How does it work:  Customers will connect to Clever via Edlink and sync their rosters to LetsGoLearn.

  • Requirements:
    • Site or district tech person contact
    • Clever connection
    • Clever Admin Contact
  • Pros:
    • Easy way for large schools or districts to keep rosters and users updated
    • Teachers and administrators are not required to manage rosters and users
    • Clever SSO
  • Cons:
    • A yearly SIS sync fee is charged based on the number of sites, "Option 2"
    • Initial set-up process can take longer
    • Teachers and administrators cannot manage Clever rosters and users
    • For Spec Ed implementations where caseloads are different or non-existent in the schools SIS, teachers will have to create their own rosters.

Option Four - Auto SIS Roster via Edlink (API Provider)
How does it work: Customers will connect to LMS/SIS/IMP via Edlink to sync their rosters to Lets Go Learn.

Supported Data Providers

  • Requirements:

SSO (Single Sign-On) Only Options

All users can log into their accounts through our website using their LGL login credentials.  Here are some additional SSO options available through Lets Go Learn.

Option One - Google SSO
Schools that are using the Google suite of products with their teachers and/or students can use the same Google sign-on credentials with Let's Go Learn.  Initial LGL login credentials are required to set up Google SSO.  For more information - Click Here

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistenciesin this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
